The Cove Awaits

I paint what interests me. If something does not jump out at me I don't paint it; it's as simple as that. This establishes, for me, a connection with the Painting because I remember the moment the subject jumped out at me. However, what captures my attention is more than just subject alone.
One of my instructors once said; "Painting is more about the relationships of light, design, and color than it is about the painting of things, and subject matter." This has always inspired me when choosing what to paint.
What interests me; capturing the moment; attention to artistic relationships: these elements fuse themselves into my final works of Art. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy creating them.
